This week we will feature a handful of some of the hundreds of historical short silent films that were made pre 1930 featuring “The Great Train Robbery”. Running time for most of the movies is only a few minutes up to 15 minutes.
“The Great Train Robbery” is a 1903 American silent Western action film made by Edwin S Porter for the Edison Manufacturing Company. It follows a gang of outlaws who hold up and rob a steam train at a station in the American West, flee across mountainous terrain, and are finally defeated by a posse of locals.
Doors and licensed bar open at 11am. Coffee, tea, snacks and refreshments available The movie screens at 12 noon. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for kids 13 and under. No need to book. Get your tickets at the door.
The movies will run for aprox 60 minutes.
