Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Made in 1922 this silent German Expressionist vampire film directed by F W Murnau and starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, is the original offering. A vampire who preys on the wife ( Greta Schroder) of his estate agent and brings the plague to their town. Set in 1838 in the fictional German town of Wisborg Transylvania.
