Karen Law has been writing story songs about things that matter for over three decades. Many of them have won awards, like the TSA Songwriters Salute (2023) or the Alistair Hulett Trophy (2020) and she’s been a three times finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest. But more important than awards, Karen’s songs have touched the hearts of audiences all over Australia (and been played by Macca on Australia All Over). Equally at home on stage or singing round the kitchen table, Karen is joined by her son Murray on guitars and backing vocals and those trademark family harmonies. They’ll be featuring songs from their latest release “Lifeline” plus many others from their last four albums.
Buckley’s Chance is a wonderful band made up of pure grass-roots magic. They’re a bunch of great folk musicians who love playing together and who love what they’re playing. Featuring guitars, bass, percussion, fiddle, flute and harmonies galore, they will bring many of your favourite songs to life and introduce you to songs that will probably become your new favourites. And if you’re hoping there’ll be a cool collaboration between Karen Law and Buckley’s Chance to end the show…you will not be disappointed!
