Convict Rhythm and Roots duo Hat Fitz and Cara combine their cultural backgrounds (AUS/IRE), creating a dynamic Blues and Roots power force that fuels Fitzy’s weathered vocals and soaring blues-soaked guitar with Cara’s pounding drums and soulful voice to create a raw and vintage sound that has taken them around the world. Hat Fitz and Cara are among Australia’s most talented roots music artists. The husband and wife team have clocked up 15 years of worldwide touring festival performances with 3 EP’s and 6 album releases.
They are delighted to be launching their 6th album “The Couch Session’s LIVE” recorded in front of a live audience and with the highly respected groove machine on Hammond Andrew Szumowski (AKA The Mouse). There will also be a few surprise guest artists on the day including Demi Casha a young Sunshine Coast artist with a unique blend of gum tree rock, indie, and folk sounds.
