
The High Sign is a 1921 short silent film starring Buster Keaton and written and directed by Keaton and Edward F Cline. Its runtime is 21 minutes. The High Sign was his first one short comedy made. Disappointed with the result, Keaton shelved it and the film was not released until the following year. The title refers to the secret hand signal used by the film’s underworld gang.
The Balloonatic – A group of men are preparing a gas balloon for launch. A young man (Keaton) assists the group by climbing atop the balloon to affix a pennant, when the balloon mistakenly takes flight with no one aboard but the young man. The young man finally downs the balloon in a wilderness area, where he encounters a young outdoorswoman and proceeds to have a series of misadventures.
Doors and bar open at 11am. Film starts at 12 noon. Coffee, tea, refreshments and snacks available. Tickets $15 and free for kids 13 and under. No need to book. Get your tickets at the door. Film screenings run for approximately one hour.
