The Majestic Theatre in Pomona is a renowned silent film venue of worldwide significance. For school students, this is an opportunity to step back in time and learn about the rich history surrounding them in the local area. They can also immerse themselves in the experience by writing a narrative about the silent film they’ve enjoyed. Film has become an essential component of media literacy studies in secondary schools, higher education, and for media and communication interest groups.

We are happy to accommodate requests for special screenings of event cinema, such as plays and theatre works, as well as culturally and historically significant films from the silent film and classic film eras. Additionally, your group will have the unique experience of viewing these films in a historically significant cinematic location.

We also encourage independent filmmakers and groups who may wish to screen their movies at our venue. The Majestic Theatre is proud to support and showcase independent film projects, providing a platform for creative voices in the film industry.
