This week we present three rare short silent comedies.
“The Unreel Newsreel” from 1923. This was a short-lived film series created by the Fox Film Corporation to create humorous phony newsreel by re-using clips from older Fox Sunshine Comedies. Many of the Fox Sunshine’s are lost so some of these clips are all we have of many of these films.
“Breezin’ Along” – Lloyd Hamilton – Released May 1, 1927 by Educational Pictures directed by Norman Taurog starring Lloyd Hamilton with Estelle Bradley, Robert Graves, Eva Thatcher, Al Thompson, Vincent Cullen.
“There It Is” – Charlie Bowers – When a mysterious figure appears to cause a series of disruptions at the Frisbie Home in New York, word goes out to Scotland Yard that the Fuzz-Faced Phantom is at work. Soon, Charley MacNeesha and his assistant MacGregor are sent across the ocean to investigate. But even as they arrive at the home, a new series of weird events begins
