Noosa local Sacha Gibbs-McPhee presents a varied program of French, Italian, and English chamber music, (and a little bit of jazz), in an intimate recital. Sacha has returned to Australia after studying at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London.

Featured in this program is a fantasy on themes from Verdi’s classic opera La Traviata, John Ireland’s Fantasy Sonata for clarinet and piano, and the Forlana from Finzi’s Five Bagatelles capturing the spirit of early 20th Century English Impressionism. The French composers Ravel and Françaix are also featured, with popular conservatoire pieces written during the golden age of Frenchclarinet playing. Welch composer Alec Templeton concludes the performance, with a Pocket Size Sonata of jazz and blues themes.
