DESCRIPTION:The Last of the Mohicans is a 1920 American silent adventure dr
 ama film written by Robert A. Dillon\, adapted from James Fenimore Cooper'
 s 1826 novel of the same name. Clarence Brown and Maurice Tourneur co-dire
 cted the film. (Brown took over the direction of the film after Tourneur i
 njured himself in a fall.). The film stars Wallace Beery\, Barbara Bedford
 \, Lillian Hall\, Alan Roscoe and Boris Karloff in one of his earliest sil
 ent film roles (playing an Indian brave). Barbara Bedford later married he
 r co-star in the film\, Alan Roscoe in real life. The production was shot 
 near Big Bear Lake in Yosemite Valley.\n\nSynopsis - Alice and Cora Munro 
 attempt to find their father\, a British officer in the French and Indian 
 War\, they are set upon by French soldiers and their cohorts\, Huron tribe
 smen led by the evil Magua. Fighting to rescue the women are Chingachgook 
 and his son Uncas\, the last of the Mohican tribe\, and their white ally\,
  the frontiersman Natty Bumppo\, known as Hawkeye.\n\nSeveral versions of 
 the film have been made since including the 1992 version which was a huge 
 Hollywood blockbuster.\n\nDoors and bar open at 11am. Coffee\, tea\, refre
 shments and snacks available. Movie screens at 12 noon. No need to book. G
