DESCRIPTION:Relive  the world-renowned sound of the late JOE COCKER with t
 his truly fantastic show at the Majestic Theatre Pomona on April 18th 2026
 .\n\nPerformed by an 8-piece professional band consisting of enthusiastic 
 and talented musicians from across the blues and rock scene in South East 
 Queensland. Led by singer Bruce Bird\, widely regarded as having a Joe Coc
 ker voice like no other. The band is a who's who of great blues musicians 
 of the Sunshine coast including - Vocal back up by  Rachael Hale and Kris
 tina Kellman. Paul Rea on Keyboards\, Dwight Wood\, Lead Guitar\, Illy Mah
 n\, Bassist\, Robbie Amhaz\, Percussion/Drums and Roger Beare on Saxophon
 e.\n\nThe much loved Joe Cocker erupted into a musical career in the 50s s
 panning five decades\, a truly remarkable achievement for a singer who lef
 t nothing in the tank at every performance.  He performed and re-interpre
 ted classic pop songs which he made his own and he became a household name
 .  \n\nThe band will showcase Joe’s own  interpretations of classic so
 ngs. Cocker recorded  songs covering The Beatles \, Rolling Stones\, Bob 
 Dylan\, BB King\, Leonard  Cohan\, The Loving Spoonful\, The Box Tops\, 
  and so many more that eventually became known as his exclusive songs\, a
 nd taken from Cocker’s classic hits from his 1969 “Mad Dogs and Englis
 hmen Tour to his later hits. \n\nDoors and bar open at 6pm. Show starts at
  7pm. Tickets $45/$40 concession.
