 irected and written by Allan Dwan. Based on the short story\, "D'Artagnan 
 of Kansas" by Eugene P. Lyle Jr.\, which appeared in Everybody's Magazine\
 , September 1912\, the film was produced by and stars Douglas Fairbanks. 
 \n\nSynopsis - Ned Thacker\, through prenatal suggestion\, is born in Kans
 as with the spirit of D'Artagnan\, of Gascony\, and\, naturally\, his gall
 antries are very much misunderstood by maids and matrons of today\, but wh
 en he falls in love with Dorothy Morane it takes something more than a mil
 lionaire rival to head him off\, and it takes even more than a half-crazed
  Indian guide and the face of the Grand Canyon to keep him from the lady o
 f his choice\; not even her mother can do that.\n\nDoors and licensed bar 
 open at 11am. Coffee\, tea\, refreshments and snacks available. Movie scre
 ens at 12 noon. $15 for adults and free for kids 13 and under. No need to
