DESCRIPTION:The Cameraman is a 1928 American silent romantic comedy film di
 rected by Edward Sedgwick and an uncredited Buster Keaton. The picture sta
 rs Keaton and Marceline Day.\nIt was Keaton's first film under contract to
  Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The following year\, however\, MGM refused to let Ke
 aton continue with creative control over his pictures\, causing lasting da
 mage to his career from which Keaton never really recovered. Keaton later 
 referred to his move to MGM as "the worst mistake of my career. The film i
 s considered by fans and critics to be one of Keaton's best.\nSynopsis - I
 n this silent classic\, photographer Buster (Buster Keaton) meets Sally (M
 arceline Day)\, who works as a secretary for the newsreel department at MG
 M\, and falls hard. Trying to win her attention\, Buster abandons photogra
 phy in order to become a news cameraman. In spite of his early failures wi
 th a motion camera\, Sally takes to him as well. However\, veteran cameram
 an Stagg (Harold Goodwin) also fancies Sally\, meaning Buster will need to
  learn how to film quickly before he loses his job.\n\nFilm duration 70 mi
