SUMMARY:SILENT FILM - SPEEDY - HAROLD LLOYD - 1928
DESCRIPTION:Speedy was the last silent feature to star Harold Lloyd—and o
ne of his very best. The slapstick legend reprises his “Glasses Characte
r\,” this time as a good-natured but scatterbrained New Yorker who can
’t keep a job. He finally finds his true calling when he becomes determi
ned to help save the city’s last horse-drawn streetcar\, which is operat
ed by his sweetheart’s crusty grandfather. From its joyous visit to Cone
y Island to its incredible Babe Ruth cameo to its hair-raising climactic s
tunts on the city’s streets\, Speedy is an out-of-control love letter to
New York that will have you grinning from ear to ear.\n\nDoors and bar op
en at 11am offering coffee\, tea\, drinks and snacks and the movie screens
at 12 noon. Tickets $15 for adults and free for kids 13 and under. No nee
d to book get your tickets at the door.\n\nMovie duration 86 minutes
