 irst film adaptation of the 1904 play by J M Barrie. It was directed by He
 rbert Brenon and starred Betty Bronson as Peter Pan\, Ernest Torrence as C
 aptain Hook and Mary Brian as Wendy. It follows the story of Peter Pan\, t
 he boy who doesn't want to grow up. He arrives at the Darling home searchi
 ng for his shadow. He meets the Darling children and takes them to Never-N
 ever Land\, where they will fight against Captain Hook and his pirate ship
  and crew. At the end the children will be back in their warm beds  The f
 ilm was seen by Walt Disney and inspired him to create his company's 1953
