SUMMARY:Rythme Mélodique - NOOSA JAZZ CLUB
DESCRIPTION:The name of the band\, Rythme Mélodique\, is a literal trans
 lation of what the group strives to present - tuneful melodies with an inf
 ectious beat. Borrowing from those recordings\, the repertoire also includ
 es a few French tunes and some less commonly heard songs\, as well as plen
 ty of favourite Swing Jazz standards.\n\nThe outstanding musicians engaged
  for this concert are Paul Hendon – clarinet and saxophones\, Paul Willi
 ams – clarinet and saxophone\, Jo Bloomfield – piano\, Dave Burrows 
 – guitar and Helen Russell - double bas. This is a concert that promises
  to be a lively afternoon of entertainment that will tick all the boxes.\
 n\nWith the blending of the two lyrical Pauls (Williams &amp\; Hendon)\, b
 acked by the pick of Southeast Queensland’s rhythm section\,  that incl
 udes a couple of songsters who will bring the lyrics to life\, this concer
 t promises to be one that should not be missed.\n\nThe Majestic Theatre We

  with chairs and some chairs at the back of the room without tables.\n 	T
 here are seats in the Mezzanine area upstairs and if booking this area ple
 ase note that there is no lift for upstairs access.\n 	The Majestic Theat
 re offers a full bar service and some light snacks such as chocolates and 
 crisps.\n 	You are welcome to bring your own snacks but please note this i
 s a licensed venue and bringing alcohol is not permitted.\n\nAbout the Ban
 d: \n\nPaul Williams - A leading Traditional and Mainstream Jazz musicia
 n and regarded as one of the most complete and versatile Saxophone &amp\; 
 Clarinet jazz musicians in Australia.\n\nPaul Hendon - initially studied 
 classical clarinet in Melbourne and his interest in jazz was kindled in hi
 gh school\, where he was tutored by Ade Monsborough (one of the forefather
 s of Australian jazz). Paul performs with various jazz bands throughout t
 he State of Queensland.\n\nJo Bloomfield - her musicianship covers Tradit
 ional and Swing Jazz\, 60’sies Pop and Rock\, and her Boogie Woogie play
 ing is legendary.\n\nDavid Burrows - is an acclaimed Queensland guitarist
  and an accomplished luthier\, selling his much in demand instruments to g
 uitarists around Australia.\n\nHelen Russell - a bassist\, vocalist\, arr
 anger\, musical director and educator based in Brisbane. Her career has en
 compassed many styles of music performance while always having jazz at its
