  Fairbanks and Wallace Beery. It was the first motion picture ever to have
  a Hollywood premiere. The movie's full title\, under which it was copyrig
 hted\, is Douglas Fairbanks in Robin Hood. It was one of the most expensi
 ve films of the 1920s\, with a budget estimated at one million dollars (eq
 uivalent to $19.23 million in 2025).[3] The film was a smash hit and gen
 erally received favorable reviews.\n\nSynopsis - Amid big-budget medieval 
 pageantry\, King Richard goes on the Crusades leaving his brother Prince J
 ohn as regent\, who promptly emerges as a cruel\, grasping\, treacherous t
 yrant. Apprised of England's peril by message from his lady-love Marian\, 
 the dashing Earl of Huntingdon endangers his life and honor by returning t
 o oppose John\, but finds himself and his friends outlawed\, and Marian ap
