 in us for our opening screening of Walkabout\, the haunting and visually e
 xtraordinary adaptation of the novel by James Vance Marshall.\n\nDirected 
 by Nicolas Roeg\, Walkabout follows two city children lost in the Australi
 an outback who encounter a young Aboriginal boy on his traditional walkabo
 ut. Together they embark on a journey of survival\, discovery and cultural
  encounter set against the stark beauty of the Australian landscape.\n\nLa
 unching our new series exploring beloved books and their film adaptations\
 , this special screening invites audiences to experience a classic of Aust
 ralian cinema on the big screen.\n\nCome along\, revisit an iconic film\, 
 and celebrate the enduring relationship between story and screen.\n\nDoors
  and bar open at 6pm. Movie screens at 7pm. Tickets $15.\n\nFilm duration
