DESCRIPTION:The Noosa Heads Jazz Club proudly presents PARIS CAFÉ JAZZ 192
 0 – 1950's. Featuring - The Noosa Jazz Ensemble.\n\nThis concert\, with 
 the Noosa Jazz Ensemble\, will capture the the timeless charm and elegance
  of the Paris Cafe Jazz experience from the 1920 – 1950's era. Jazz was 
 born in America but Paris was the first to hail it as an art form.\n\nWar-
 weary and hungry for diversion\, Parisians in the 1920's embraced this ex
 otic musical form. Musicians\, expatriate authors\, avant-garde artists\, 
 flappers and socialites converged on the Casino’s\, Clubs\, Cabarets and
  Cafés where jazz reigned. Paris became a crossroads for jazz musicians f
 rom around the world.\n\nParis Cafés featuring hauntingly beautiful Frenc
 h songs by Edith Piaf\, Django Reinhardt and Stephen Grapelli mixed with c
 aptivating jazz standards from acclaimed American Jazz musicians\, Josephi
 ne Baker\, Cole Porter\, Sidney Bechet\, Louis Armstrong\, Billy Holiday a
 nd Eartha Kitt\, amongst many others who gravitated to Paris\, gained vast
  audience appeal.\n\nThe Musicians - The Noosa Jazz Ensemble\n\nJo Bloomfi
 eld (Piano)\, Paul Williams (Sax &amp\; Clarinet)\, Paul Hendon (Sax &amp\
 ; Clarinet)\, David Burrows (Guitar)\, Chris Schnack (Tuba &amp\; Bass Gui
 tar)\, June Garber (Vocals) and Rod Andrew (Drums)\n\nThe Noosa Jazz Ensem
 ble warmly welcome Danny Healy\, an Australian multi-woodwind jazz instrum
 entalist and composer\, as their guest to join them in concert. \n\nThe M
 ajestic Theatre Welcomes the Noosa Jazz Club Members and Guests\n\nTo enjo
 y your concert experience here are a few things to know:\n\n 	Seating is a
 t allocated tables with chairs and some chairs at the back of the room wi
 thout tables.\n 	There are seats in the Mezzanine area upstairs and if boo
 king this area please note that there is no lift for upstairs access.\n 	
 The Majestic Theatre offers a full bar service and some light snacks such 
 as chocolates and crisps.\n 	You are welcome to bring your own snacks but 
 please note this is a licensed venue and bringing alcohol is not permitted
 .\n\nThursday 25 June. Doors and Bar at 12. Concert starts at 1pm. \n\nMe
