 - Oedipus’ daughters Antigone and Ismene are grieving the death of their
  brothers. Antigone is defiant at the law imposed by her Uncle that no tra
 itor killed in war is to be buried. The law of the state conflicts with th
 e unwritten burial laws of the gods. Which law holds more weight and which
  outweighs the other: the law of the state or the right of the individual?
